OK, so I heard the Drinking Liberally group was meeting here, but I can’t find them (read: haven’t drank enough bourbon to randomly approach strangers). But I did meet Shawn Taylor at the bar, and although he’s not a part of the DL group, he enjoys drinking liberally often at Cumberland Brews. Good thing he’s here on election night — it’s happy hour until midnight, bitches! I’m enjoying my $3.25 Nut Brown in good company.

Shawn and I remarked how we both ended up at work ahead of schedule today because we got up so early thinking we’d be waiting in line to vote all day. Nope — we were in and out faster than that one time under the bleachers. 

We just saw Johnny Yarmuth make the victory speech. And I’m currently having trouble spelling words like speech … I kinda wanted to spell it speach. Anyhow, the mood seems positive among the drinking liberals.
