According to Flanagan’s beer pusher Ashley Isaacs, tonight’s beer of the week (7 p.m., 934 Baxter Ave.) features Founders Brewery. Here’s what she told me in an e-mail:

“We will have 3 beers on draft and 3 in bottles. Every single one of these brews ranked between 94 and 100 on http://www.ratebeer.com! On draft: the long-awaited Founders Breakfast Stout (100!), Centennial IPA (95) and Dirty Bustard Scotch Ale (94). In bottles: Red’s Rye Ale (96), Founders Porter (99) and Double Trouble IPA (99). Michael Bell, a representative from the brewery, will join us from Grand Rapids, Mich. We will have limited glassware for this event, but you guys only come for the beer, right?”

Wrong. Even though I have absolutely no more room in my cupboards for glassware, I still want the free glass! I’m a pack rat and I’ve learned to live with it.
