Maker’s was the 2009 Grand Champion (as well as the winner in the Mixed Drink Challenge, Distillery Division) in the 2009 Kentucky Bourbon Festival Mixed Drink Challenge contest.
Regional restaurant bartenders and distillery personnel prepared specialty bourbon drinks and were judged by a select group of bourbon experts (where was I!?).
The 2009 Grand Champion winner becomes the official drink for 2010 Kentucky Bourbon Festival.
Maker’s Mark Peach Cobbler

.5 oz Dubonet Red

.25 oz sugar syrup

Do you know who the restaraunt division winner is? They are champions just the same and should be recognized as well!
I see there is a restaraunt winner. I’m more apt to go to a restaurant for a good meal and a unigue cocktail rather than a distillery. Which restaraunt took the honors?
Definitely one of the more unique “peach cobbler” themed drink recipes I’ve seen. I will give it a try for sure. Thanks for posting.
I’ll try it with Turkey, more up my financial alley
Yesterday, while I was at work, my sister stole my iphone and tested to
see if it can survive a thirty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation.
My apple ipad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know
this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!
