Tap that Flanny

They’re tapping more delicious beer tonight at Flanagan’s! I bet the glasses are going to be cool … unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be able to make it. Someone go drink two … and save a glass for me! That’s an assignment.

Here’s what Ashley has to say:

Thursday December 9th, is a night for BIG beers!  At 7:00 we will tap a keg of another specially ordered Belgian brew, Monks Cafe. Brouwerij Van Steenberge blends young and old beers to make this mildy tart sour ale. Light bodied with a lactic/sour nose and a bit of sweet and sour in the finish. Very refreshing!  At 8:00 we will tap a keg of  St. Bernardus Christmas. St. Bernardus Christmas Ale is the youngest descendant in the illustrious family of delicious Abbey Ales by Brewery St. Bernardus. This specialty beer of 10% abv is characterized by its deep dark color, with a creamy, thick head and a full, almost velvety taste with a fruity nose. It’s a seasonal ale, brewed annually for the holiday season. The long winter nights are perfect moments to savour this ale with or without friends and to enjoy its unique, complex taste and after-taste. At 8:30 we will tap a  keg of Sierra Nevada Brewers Reserve Grand Cru. Brewers Reserve is a special ale highlighting Sierra’s pioneering history and the innovative spirit that has carried them through all these years. Is is a marriage of their three most acclaimed ales: Oak-aged Bigfoot, Celebration Ale, and fresh Pale Ale blended together and generously dry-hopped. Come join us in celebrating Sierra’s thirty years with this most special brew.
