BBC expanding Main St. location w/ Four Roses Loft

Here’s the press release. I like Four Roses bourbon, and I like BBC beer. Yay!

Bluegrass Brewing Co. and Four Roses Bourbon are rolling out the barrels in a new partnership in downtown Louisville. BBC is expanding its restaurant and brewery at 3rd and Main streets, with the addition of a third floor called the Four Roses Bourbon Barrel Loft.

As part of the partnership, BBC will age some of its specialty beers in barrels that previously aged Four Roses bourbon.  The beer filled barrels will be on display in the Loft.

“Four Roses is an outstanding bourbon and we are pleased to be able to work with their distillery team making this a cool urban space that still has a Kentucky heritage feel,” said Pat Hagan of BBC.

All three BBC locations will feature specialty cocktails featuring Four Roses on their menus.

The Four Roses Bourbon Barrel Loft will be flexible space available to accommodate groups from 10 to 200.  It includes a custom-built bar, highlighted by bourbon barrel staves woven together to form a unique ceiling.  The Loft can be divided with movable glass doors to create a more intimate space for a private dinner or a board meeting with complete audio/visual presentation capabilities.

A grand opening is being planned for later this summer.
