It was just announced that Cyndi Lauper will serve as the Grand Marshal of the 57th annual Pegasus Parade on Thursday, May 3! When I saw “Lauper” and “parade” in the same sentence, I figured it was for the Pride Parade in June. But no! Even better! She’ll be here for Derby. I’m hoping she plays a concert somewhere that weekend, but no details have been released. I’m still not sure if this will compel me to choose a sidewalk over happy hour … we shall see.
