More beer in the mail! This time in the form of Magic Hat‘s two new summer beers — Pistil and Elder Betty. They were both delicious and would make the perfect drinks to sip in the sun.

Pistil is a session beer brewed with Dandelion petals. It was earthy and mild and refreshing … like making out with a hippie … after they’ve showered in a spring rain.

The Elder Betty was a bit more fruity and hoppy. It’s a Weiss-style ale brewed with elderberries. I preferred this one because I like my good beers a little hefty … and the sweetness rounded out the full-bodied flavor.

They’re both available in the Summer Scene Variety Pak at liquor stores throughout town. Try ’em out for yourself!
