Maker’s Mark is throwing a faux political campaign rally tonight at Garage Bar, and Bill Samuels Jr. will be on hand to stir up the shenanigans. Here are some of the things you can expect:

• Attendees will use wax tokens to vote on two opposing drinks (i.e. The Candidate vs. The Incumbent, The Liberal vs. The Conservative)
• Visuals include poll booths, as well as Cocktail Party hats, buttons and yard signs that will be given out as party favors
• Food, political-themed drinks and specially priced Maker’s Mark and Maker’s 46 drinks will be available

It goes from 6-8 p.m. at Garage Bar, 700 E. Market St. If I wasn’t so hungover, I would check it out. They’ll also be doing it tomorrow from 6-8 p.m. at The Village Anchor, 11507 Park Road.
