Magic Hat came out with their Winterland Variety Pak this month, and it includes some yummy, unique beers. First up is Heart of Darkness, a black stout with a smooth, round palate and a dreamlike undercurrent of bittersweet chocolate. Yum. Next is Encore, which is genre-bending mix of an American wheat beer and a traditional India Pale Ale. Double yum and a hiney smack. And finally, there’s Wooly, an Extra Special Bitter spiced with flavorful, aromatic spruce tips. It’s like a Christmas tree in a bottle. Three yums and a high-five with Mickey Mouse for that one.
