I’m heading to the lake this weekend with some friends, and we were talking about what games we’re bringing. Casey said she’s bringing along Connect, and she was extremely excited to be doing so. I was a bit confused by her excitement, because Connect 4 has been around so long. So I asked if she preferred to be red or black. After a five-minute laughing and pointing session, it was explained that Connect is a new kind of video game system where you don’t need joysticks … or controllers … or whatever. Oh well … I never said I was cool.

(BTW: I kinda forgot about the word “joystick.” I like it. What would be the meaning of a joystick jockey?)
