I played the best drinking game ever in Bloomington over the weekend. I had heard the legends of the game and the many hours and livers spent on it. Well, I finally made it to Bloomington’s Nick’s for a game of Sink the Biz. Basically, you get a bucket full of beer, an empty glass, two pitchers and plastic cups for all the players. Everyone gets some beer in their cup, and you go around the table taking turns pouring a little beer in the glass that is floating in the bucket of beer. It slowly starts to sink with each pour, and the person who actually sinks the glass has to drink its contents.
The trick is trying to get the person next to you to sink it without sinking it yourself. There’s a fine line, and the more you drink, the less skilled you become at controlling what you’re pouring out. Trash talk and yelling “Jersey Shore” lines ensue. I was thinking about getting my own Sink the Biz kit and bringing it back to Louisville. Anyone interested in playing?
Is it weird that I’m this age and still into drinking games? I have a feeling I’ll be pulling out Sink the Biz at the nursing home.
