Today’s Reason To Drink

Prohibition-1-300x239Today is the 80th anniversary of Repeal Day! The day Prohibition ended and Americans were free to drink Jagerbombs once again. Many bars and restaurants are celebrating around the area, and I’m co-hosting a class on Prohibition (hint: there will be drinks) tonight at Moonshine University from 6-8 p.m. There may still be a few spots left, so be sure to register if you’re interested. If you don’t have a drink today (and you’re not in AA or don’t have health issues), you’re not American.

In the Leo of December 4, there
were 2 books written about…one the first was on a rather extreme
topic; the second covered somewhat of a mystery, and was
very appealing. I went into a doctor’s appointment and upon returning, the Leo was gone. Can you help me find the title of the book? The two “reviews”
were presented in a shaded box.
I would sincerely appreciate knowing title and author of each.
    Many thanks
