The Thunderbird’s “Banana Man.”

Have you ever looked at photos in your phone and not remembered taking them?

This one was from Thursday night when I attended the Bourbon for Bottoms fundraiser for colon cancer at Haymarket Whiskey Bar. I do admit loading up on banana manhattans from the bartenders of Indianapolis’ Thunderbird, who took over the bar that night.

Although I don’t remember taking this photo (maybe someone grabbed my phone … and also called my friend an “ass” via text?), I do recall the many great conversations I had with the folks attending.

But man, a banana manhattan is not as innocent as it sounds.
