It’s never a dull day when you’re in Bardstown, Ky. Visited the Old Barton Distillery yesterday, which makes 1792 bourbon, among others, to help celebrate the launch of their latest batch, 1792’s 225th Anniversary release, which commemorates the year Kentucky joined the United States.

If you’ve never been, it’s definitely worth a visit. And tours are free! One interesting tidbit is it’s the only distillery that still uses coal. Oh, and the bourbon is yummy.

If you can get your hands on the 225th Anniversary, you won’t be disappointed. Plus, it’s only $35.99 and looks good on your bar.
