Last night, I won first place in the Society of Professional Journalists’ (SPJ) annual contest in the Feature Commentary category, which basically means I won for my Bar Belle columns.

It’s been a few years since I won first place, so I feel happy that people are still reading, drinking and understanding what I’m pouring out.

Now I just need to start writing more columns.
