Inhaling Ben & Jerry.
Well, I survived another Forecastle weekend and didn’t even have to make a trip to Molly Mountain to have a good time. Of course I had my fair share of beer and bourbon, and I even rode the viking ship that was new this year.
Highlights included Margo Price, limes in my Dos XX, Jenny Lewis, two scoops of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream on National Ice Cream Day, Maiden Radio with guests like Ben Sollee and Tyrone Cotton, tasting the 2002 Old Forester Birthday Bourbon, Courtney Barnett, more Four Roses swag, and Arcade Fire.
It was hot, it was hotter and it was hottest when the sun was out — which was Saturday.
I’m having a hard time getting all my joints to function properly today, but I take that as a sign of a successful music festival.
