This man is buying beer for 2,500 people!

U of L women’s basketball coach Jeff Walz is buying beer tonight for 2,500 people! Can you imagine that bar tab? At tonight’s U of L vs. LSU game at the Yum! Center, the first 2,500 fans of age will get a voucher for a free beer … and after that, the beers are only $2! I already love this man, and this just seals the deal.

“We’re just trying to have a little bit of a good time here at the ballgame,” Walz said at a press conference on Monday. “It’s a way to say thanks to all our adults who come and support us, and we’re just trying to get some of our fans who haven’t come out to come on out one time and get a drink and enjoy the ballgame and hopefully grab the attention of a few more fans.”

Tickets to the game are also being discounted from $10 to $6. Game time is 7 p.m. See you in line for the voucher!
