Twelve days without a post?! Is that a new record? It is unacceptable, I realize. And I sincerely apologize, but I have some excuses. Here they are:

• Went on a four-day press trip to Lake Charles, La., and New Orleans.
• Played blackjack like a boss, but only between the hours of 3-6 p.m.
• Was crazy busy writing content for Insider Louisville so they’d have copy for when I was gone.
• Was crazy busy checking email and catching up when I got back.
• Bought a house.

But now I’m back. From outer space. I just walked in to find you here with that sad look upon your face.
