So I’m doing this low carb thing for two weeks, and I’m learning tons of important lessons. For instance, did you know you get tipsy quicker without carbs? Sure, you can eat all the meat, cheese and eggs you want, but they don’t slow down alcohol processing at all.
Learned that lesson last night, and regretting it this morning.
Also, eating meat, cheese and eggs doesn’t quite fill you up like a good hunk of bread or plate of pasta. I’m starving, always. But I’m happy to eat cheese and not feel guilty about it.
Also, I can drink bourbon and wine. So there’s that.
So far it’s been three days, and I’ve lost three pounds. Woot!
