Had a fun field trip yesterday helping Westport Whiskey & Wine and Butchertown Grocery pick some barrels of Woodford Reserve and Woodford Double Oaked.
And by help, I mean watching and sipping while the guys who put up the money figure out what is best for their store and restaurant.
It was inspiring to watch true professionals at work, nosing and tasting at least a dozen samples of batched bourbons.
